conceive 既是及物动词，也可以作不及物动词，看含义
1. 表示【想象、构想】
✅ 不及物：conceive of sth（必须加of，不能直接接宾语！考试高频）
I can’t conceive of such a plan.
我无法想象这样一个计划。
✅ 及物：conceive sth（正式书面） 想出、构思（计划/想法）
conceive a new idea 构思出新想法
2. 表示【怀孕】
✅ 及物动词，直接接宾语 conceive a child 怀上孩子
She conceived a baby. 她怀孕了。

– 看到 conceive 后面直接加名词 → 及物，意思“构思（计划）；怀（孩子）”
– 表达“想象”，后面要接事物名词，绝大多数情况考 conceive of +宾语（不及物用法）
